I hate the bloated, slow loading and CPU heavy site, so I won't check it out, GUI seems nice and simple though.
It deserves a prize for weird names. I would never guess that it is a backup and imaging application from the name.
I put it into a VM. The interface bears resemblance to Aomei Backupper. The website doesn't give any information about the company but from the name, the choice of English or French in the preferences and the number of testimonials from Canadians in the website, it looks like it comes from Quebec. Testing imaging software takes time and I'm in no need of a new imaging app so I'm not likely to use this program anytime soon.
Surprise! Rene.E Laboratory Co., Ltd. is a software developer located in Jiangmen, Guangdong in China.
That explains the resemblance to Aomei. They have several national versions of their website and the main one has a Canadian flavor.
After 20 minutes of backing up my C drive,i gave up.(the job was barely at 50%...).Aomei backupper or Paragon does the same job in about 10 min.Uninstalled from my laptop for good.
I gave up after a few minutes as it reported it would take 3 hours. It takes 3 minutes with other apps.
From my experience,i know that sometimes the time remained is usually wrong for this type of software (backing up and imaging) and i don't taking it too seriously. But this time...Renee Becca was dead seriously and so was I ...removed it.
