Yeah, thanks. I've got the latest version on Chromium but when I updated the Firefox one from the Mozilla site 0.8.8.0 was what I got. I'm guessing they'll fix this soon.

You can download the one for Firefox by using the download links on github.

I think that github sent me to Mozilla's add on page lol! The Mozilla add on is updated, but I think the emergency fix was for WebKit/Blink browsers and didn't affect Gecko based Firefox.

Really that was weird lol, I have downloaded three updates that have been released since I started using uBlock by using the download link for firefox that is posted with each release on github, and I have not been redirected anywhere, the download has started and the new version of uBlock has installed over the old one seamlessly, no idea why you get sent to the Mozilla page. Yeah the "emergency" fix was for something in Safari, but I updated mine in Firefox anyway.

Has anybody noticed that blocking javascript is no longer sufficient to block YouTube video ads?

Used to be ABP but I'm now using uBlock.

I like Dynamic filtering and this feature. If ever I don't feel like micromanaging, it's easy to turn off Dynamic filtering engine and yet have my dynamic filtering rules kept intact.

If you mean video Annotations, I don't believe NoScript ever blocked those. I cant stand annotations. You can get rid of them with this Adblock plus filter. It works great. I install the "Block only other annoyances."

You know, that yellow bar that spawns an ad box in the video. It used to block those things but recently it does not work anymore. I don't want to install ABP honestly. Also, I need annotations for tips and translations.

Hi GrafZ, I didn't know what the yellow bar was, so I created a new Firefox profile and visited YouTube to see what that is. With Adblock plus and NoScript, I don't get to see any of them or ads or anything else but the video when I visit YouTube.

What I don't understand though is, you say you don't want ads but want annotations. To me, annotations and ads are basically the same.:)
