Google calendar across all my devices (PC, phone, tablet). Create an appointment and it is visible instantly everywhere. If you put also a place of appointment it brings you to Google maps where you can use navigation, street view etc. In Opera Chromium I use extension Checker Plus for Google Calendar. However this solution need not to be for all users, especially for those hating Google. ;-)

Microsoft One Note. Its been free to use since the last year. I've installed Onetastic to expand what it can do. :)

I'm in the Google universe too. Up time is crazy good and it's wonderful to have everything, everywhere. For mobile devices, I prefer Calengoo for my mobile calendars (yes, plural.) Calengoo isn't free (either $5.99 or $6.99 US depending on Android or iOS) but it's well worth the price for me.

Does one note sync with google then?

I would like to sync outlook with something like google calendar myself.
Missed this ability since google withdrew their google calendar sync program. :(

Currently using palm desktop calendar and syncing android to google :(

I just log into the regular Google Gmail/Calendar/Contacts web pages. The only issue I've ever had with Google pages is when running an older browser. By their choice, Google doesn't support older browsers very well. Some features may be limited or off if your browser is too old.

We use paid Google Apps at work too. In the couple of years or so we've been using it, I think email has been down a couple of hours and the calendar 3 or 4 hours. And even during the down time, I still had my calendars on my mobile devices. I don't count email, as without the web, there is no email anyway. (I could use Gmail offline but don't see the point.)

I use Outlook on desktop. It syncs seamlessly with the native calendar app on my windows phone. Simple, intuitive and useful.:)

I have Mozilla Thunderbird witch has a extension called "Lightning" a calender and Gmails calender linked with a Firefox plug in called "Provider", a very buggy plugin. I deleted the plugin, less work correcting the errors between the 2 calenders.

Yes. I tried the Provider after reading about it in this thread, and it didn´t work. I use only Google Calendar.

My "old reliable" has for years been the Yahoo Calendar, which I've set to send me email reminders -- 2 days ahead for most events (e.g. doctors' appointments), or a few hours ahead for a couple of meds I only take one or two days a week. Those go to my "home" POP addy, since that's my primary address even for communications from Yahoo itself -- anything going to my Yahoo addy I take for granted is junk, and delete it automatically.
