Does anyone know about this program ? Looks like a cool anti-exploit software but I believe its only for endpoint security and for consumer use.

Wow, nice find. It looks exciting, I wonder if this will be a serious competitor to MBAE and HMPA. A bit of a bummer that it's not yet available for download. And seems to be another Turkish IT security company, after Zemana.

They have a video in YouTube where they compare it with EMET 5.1 by running an exe. I don't think they know how emet works.

With EMET available for free, this can succeed only if they offer a protection level that exceeds what EMET offers.

If you already have EMET and ViRobot APT Shield, you don't really need Trapmine.

Trapmine is backed by SignalSEC Ltd. which is a well-known vulnerability research company in the industry. We are motivated by a desire to discover new vulnerabilities and develop exploits. Our researchers discovered many critical vulnerabilities in widely deployed software created by Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Novell and SCADA vendors. Therefore, we created Trapmine to make you one steap ahead.

    What does develop exploits mean?

    Unknown,

I have sent them an email regarding obtaining a demo version Wednesday and I haven't yet heard a single thing from them.

Well, if they offer a lifetime license it would make them very attractive. And what I don't like about EMET, is all of the config options, sometimes less is more. What Trapmine needs to do is offer at least the same capabilities (including "Application Lockdown") as MBAE and HMPA, I think they have set the standard. I do know that the developers of HMPA feel like their product is superior to MBAE.

    Penetration Testing
    SignalSEC provides penetration testing service.
    SignalSEC researchers have experience in

    • SCADA security
    • Network security
    • Exploit development
    • Mobile & Web application security.
What exploits are they developing? Just for penetration testing ? I would think if they are developing exploits to test customers systems, are not they some that can not be detected with current software?

Why are you so worried about this? I believe it's a good thing that they apparently have the skills to develop exploits, this means that they also know how to protect against this stuff.

Although they still don't offer an evaluation version of Trapmine...

Either TRAPMINE is not released yet of they are offering it as a service?
I wrote them an e-mail also so we will see if they reply.

I have tried to make contact multiple times:
    1) Using the form on their website
    2) By sending an e-mail
    3) Tried to contact them on Twitter

And I haven't received any answer yet.

Reaction with regard to beta testing:

    Hi XXXX,

First of all, we are sorry for our late response. Currently, we are completely involved in development of Trapmine and internal testing process. This is why we can't reply messages and beta testing requests.

We are not sure about offering a consumer version of Trapmine in future. Anyway, we would like to open a private beta testing program soon. (...)

    Best regards,

    XXXX

Wow, what a total buzz-kill, so they aren't really geared to the consumer market.

I was looking into Trapmine a few days ago. I wonder why they only want to release it to businesses for now.
