    @novirusthanks

    This is interesting. I uninstalled CIS, AG, MBAE, SBIE and still can't run anything after new ERP. :(

    @busy

    Try this:

    1) Uninstall ERP
    2) Reboot
    3) Delete (if present) the folder C:\Program Files\NoVirusThanks\EXE Radar Pro\
    4) Delete (if present) the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\nvterp.sys
    5) Delete (if present) the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\nvterpprotect.sys
    6) Reboot
    7) Now install ERP

    Let me know if this way it works, I suspect something was not deleted correctly during the first uninstallation.

    @bjm_

    No need to re-activate this build version.

    @TS4H

    No, it should not pops up. If you close the GUI, then if you right-click the trayicon, does the GUI pops up ?

    Hello! Just want to say I have the same issue as busy. Already went through all those steps but EXE Radar refuse to start up (the process is running but the GUI never shows up). As a result, I had to reboot into safe mode after a hard reset several times to uninstall EXE Radar. Can't figure out how to make it work. The log files are empty as well so it's a mystery.

    @novirusthanks Yes it still occures.

    The steps i have taken;

    Uninstalled the only potentially conflicting security app, HitmanProAlert.

    Uninstall ERP, reboot, clean left over reg files, re install, reboot. Right click task tray icon and GUI shows up. Close GUI (no other windows open) right click tray and GUI opens.

    Very unusual indeed. Ill keep you posted.

    regards.

    Hey guys, what other security software do you have.

    I had a lock up of my system during install which is quite unusual. I finally figured out if I shutdown EIS, it would install. That is something I've never had to do before.

    I even tried without any other security software but result was same. Do you think it's possible that backup software (Rollback Rx) and/or caching software (PrimoCache, Samsung Magician) can cause this issue?

    I had a successful install with the build 1401 but a failed restart. Windows would boot, but would stay on the black screen right before "welcome" had to uninstall in safe mode. System has not felt right since. Still investigating and now with this right click issue. Weird indeed.

    After installing the new beta and restarting I had a blue screen. The dump file was there but I was doing something else and ran ccleaner without unchecking memory dumps. I will be careful not to delete it if it happens again.

    ERP pic crop.png Hate to bump friends with Install issues. Might this pic re no Path no Cmd Line be a bug that's been fixed with new build. Before I try new build. Does Uninstall drop whitelist / blacklist / Command Line etc.

    Just repeated the blue screen. This happens after restarting my computer. Windows 8.1 x64

    I can't upload the file. Please give me an email address so I can send it to you. It's only 280kb.

    It looks like a new beta was released - v3.1 Build 2-16012015. I am still on 3.1 Build 1-14012015

    It doesn't mention anything about fixing blue screens though.

    Yes Build 2 was released. Fixed a few problems, but this new conflict on install is a major problem.

    @ novirusthanks

    Can you perhaps respond to this? When you're finished with bug fixing of course. Because either the drivers are not loaded at all, or they are loaded in an unusual way on my system.

    I encourage everyone to check if the drivers can be found on your system by these tools. They are named: nvterp.sys and nvterpprotect.sys. The descriptions are: "NoVirusThanks EXE Radar Pro KDriver" and "NoVirusThanks EXE Radar Pro Protection Driver".

    Rasheed, to be honest I could care less if those tools can or can not find the drivers. All I care about is if ERP works, and other then a glitch or two it does.

    I understand what you're saying, but it's still highly weird, and I want to make sure that ERP is working correctly on my system, with full protection capabilities. It's also interesting to know from a technical point of view.

    Thanks to all the information, I could reproduce all the issues locally.

    I have removed the actual build setup files for safety and in few minutes I should upload a new build with the fixed issues.

    @Rasheed187

    If ERP shows items in the Events tab and/or if you get alert dialogs that means ERP is working properly.

    About that programs, after ERP issues are fixed I will install and test them to see what appens.

    @bjm_

    When you uninstall ERP, make sure to reply "No" to the question "Do you want to delete logs, settings and lists ?"

    I also have AVG, Malwarebytes, Anti-Exploit, and Sandboxie. That's pretty much it.

    I uploaded the new BUILD3:
    http://downloads.novirusthanks.org/files/EXERadar_Pro_x86_x64_v3.1_16012015_BUILD3.exe

    To update:

    1) Close ERP from Trayicon->Exit
    2) Uninstall ERP
    3) Reboot the PC (very important)
    4) Install ERP

    @Charyb

    If you still get a BSOD with this new build (you shouldn't) can you try this:

    1) Maintain ERP installed, just close ERP with Trayicon -> Exit.
    2) Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\
    3) Delete nvterp.sys and nvterpprotect.sys
    4) Now just reboot the PC 3 or 4 times

    If the BSOD appears again after the reboots, then the problem should be related to other software.

    Is this a bug or just disabled link?
    Clicking on "Read how to update the program" does nothing....

    One thing on doing the upgrade. I always put ERP in learning mode before shutting it down if I am going to keep the settings. That way it not only won't be blocked but will pick up the changes.
