Poor research on their part. Did you contact them regarding the warning?

My understanding is that they have been made aware of the inaccuracy of these warnings (they warn about lots of software), but testing the latest download of their software shows the same inaccuracies.

I know that Bitdefender wont install unless SpywareBlaster is removed which is kinda silly.

Interesting. I use SpywareBlaster as part of a proven package that eliminates all genuine viruses and worms. Haven't had any of those since 2000. It's a freeware package available at my website: http://mvp-help.webs.com/apps/blog/ Scroll down to the article Addson Means AddsOff. I'm still using this package. It works but you still need extra help against malware.
---Oops! Just noticed the date from last year. My apologies.---

MVPS HOSTS ought to be done on the ISP level, absolute rubbish of corporate exec's not to, and yet the idiots consistently complain about security issues. Also the loopback (127.0.0.1) address is incorrect and ought to be changed to 0.0.0.0 which is an unrouteable IP. Having the loopback for each malware host just causes ridiculous system resoureces. I expressed this way back in early 2000's ::Edit:: however, 0 dots do not work for one system... i forget which.
