I bought Hard Disk Manager 15 Suite and assumed it included a scheduler. Now that it's a quiet time I decided to get it working. After getting nowhere trying to follow the instructions in the user manual I'm left to believe the feature does not exist. Am I missing something? Why did I pay $$ for software that appears to be no better than the free version?

Thanks for any help in getting an automatic backup schedule working.

Don't see any sign of a Schedule option when creating a backup with 'Hard Disk Manager 15 Suite'.

It works fine with 'Backup & Recovery 15 Home' and that software does list 'Scheduler and Script Generator' in its specifications.

The same feature is absent in the 'Hard Disk Manager 15 Suite' specs.

But I make a screenshot from the HDM 15 Suite demo-version.
    Legacy interface - smart backup...

[Correction] - The scheduler works for me in HDM 15 Suite 431, both in VD and legacy PBF modes.

Your screen grab is from the 'HDM15-Pro' version which may offer a schedule feature, though apparently not in its normal mode.

I'm own the basic HDM 15 non-Pro version and it does not offer a 'Legacy Mode' button (nor can I find the option in any sub-menu).

For automated incremental backups it would seem 'Backup & Recovery 15 Home' is more complete and a bit less expensive.

I really wish a feature comparison table was easily available on Paragon's product page.

    See http://www.paragon-software.com/features.html.

According to this page, both Backup and Recovery 15 Home and Hard Disk Manager 15 Suite support scheduling. I checked HDM 15 Suite 431 and the scheduler works OK in both the VD and PBF formats. The option "Schedule backup" doesn´t appear in the VD case, but the backup can be created using the "Save to Scheduler" icon.

Additionally, BRH 15 supports scripting, according to this page. I haven´t used BRH.

Please don't try to convince me that the world around is not the same what I see. http://youtu.be/ykhuVUXey3c

Robin, HDM15S also supports scripting, IMHO.

The option "Generate Script" exists in some versions of HDM, but I don´t see it in the Suite.

IMHO, there just "play on words", terms. Because " schedule backup" also generates a script.

I'm slowpoke. There is a button "Save to Sheduler" with which almost any operation can be set into the schedule.

    Thank you Fireworker !! :)

You should get a job w/ Paragon doing 'how-to' tutorials on doing basic chores with their software. The manual is not very clear (imo) and the interface is not very intuitive (for dummies like me..).

Many companies offer simple video tutorials on using their products. Why not Paragon?

    Thanks again!
