I got auto update notification on sandbox browser and I accidentally was in the middle of installing it downloading Waterfox browser when I was in sandboxed browser so I hit pause then hit X button to exit out. Now I opened up my original Waterfox browser but automatic Waterfox update notification not appearing. I want to get notified for future when updates are available. Should I install water on top of this older version? Would that fix and give me future auto notification? I don't feel with going to about Waterfox and updating that way because in the past I did that with FF but didn't give me auto notification when doing it that way
Hi Sooflymami, you don't need to wait to get notified again. I believe Waterfox is similar to Firefox, the browser that I use. Go to Help>About Waterfox, Click "Check for updates". If you prefer not to update that way, then download a fresh installer for the new version and run it over the top. Do the update out of the sandbox. Bo
Should I still get notified in the future so ill know it's available even if I insrall newest version over the current one?
In the future, you ll get prompted about new versions if your browser is set to do so. By your description, I can tell you have it that way now. Dont change nothing. Bo
