  3. Great hanging when using Chrome is fixed. Now add an option to don't install the URL filter (or show me an malware URL chrome misses and MBAM catches)

Evidently the MBAM Team have pushed out a new build increment before most experienced the reported issue.

I'm still using v1.75.0.1300 as an on-demand scanner only. Any important reason to update? Thanks.

A list of what MBAM offers in real time that on-demand does not. Run a trial and see the difference.

Thanks. I have a PRO license and am aware of all that. My question remains, I'm using v1.75.0.1300 PRO as an on-demand scanner only. Is there any reason to update?

I've reached out to https://twitter.com/malwarebytes and have asked someone to jump in to address your question.

I believe rootkit scanning is new in v2. More generally the vendor says that detection is better in v2.

Thanks. Are all the stability issues fully resolved in this version? Also does it still install an unneeded service when used for on demand only?

These services are introduced in the 2.0 family. I'm not sure if I'd label the service as unneeded, though.

v2.0 introduced several stability issues that caused me to revert to 1.75 for on-demand scanning and which is still supported by current definitions. I am trying to determine if all v2.0 stability issues have been resolved. Does anybody know? Thanks.

Dude, why not just reinstall it and see if it meets your needs? Stability issues are often specific to the system; Its perfectly stable on my computers but that doesn't guarantee it will be for you. Alternately you could open a ticket with MalwareBytes and get a definitive answer from the developer.
