Wow, is that icon really called the "hamburger?" I never would have made that connection. Of course, I wouldn't have assumed it was for a menu either; it's only because other applications like web browsers have adopted it that it became intuitive.

Yes. Hopefully they will add atleast of few of these request before the release.
However the new feature (or whatever it is considered), i find definitely an improvement interms of usability. Especially playing .mkv file format natively.

Gave up on all the time, space, and effort it takes keeping up-to-date. Takes a long time installing new builds, then wastes a lot of space I need to reclaim, etc. Removed Windows 10, I will be waiting for the RC or at least Consumer Preview.

    J_L,

After a Disk Cleanup my used space was roughly the same as before the update.

Hence the reclaiming part, further complicated by the fact it's under a virtual machine.

Thanks for pointing out the need to reclaim space. I didn't realize that the old build was kept after installing the new one. Apparently each new build is downloaded and installed separately. The update wants a fast connection and people with data caps should watchout. Not problematic for me personally, but important for people to be aware of. As for an RC maybe next Spring? :)

BTW, a bit OT, but last week Bill Gates was over here in Holland, and he gave a 1 hour TV interview, of course about M$ and his foundation, but anyway, it was a bit weird that when a question was asked about the successor of Win 8 (and why Win 8 was badly received), he kept referring to Windows 9. Seems like he must have missed the memo. :D

I'm worried about the One Drive changes.

Some of our clients have 20,000-100,000 files on it.. The new changes are... Well.. Nevermind.. LOL

Not that I've read anywhere. We may get additional Tech Previews and then there's supposed to be a Consumer Preview so there's a way to go before RTM.

Frankly at this stage what I like about 10 is it isn't 8. In Windows 10 Microsoft has largely undone the split UI and restored the desktop functionality that was lost in 8. I do not yet see anything in 10 that is significantly better than 7, but it's still "early days".

I am just hoping that even after Windows 10 is released the upgrade will be fairly painless. Even two or three months after it was installed I always kept getting the "Sorry, we can't connect right now error and message". Not sure if anyone else experienced this, but that was my mileage and it was terrible.
