seems the bug affecting large downloads is back with the current beta. for the past week or so i have had them failing again but saying they were complete same as last time avira had this bug, now i see the same issue and when i disable real time and web shield they finish perfectly fine.

It stays for the selected time frame and feedback is taken into consideration whether there will be another advertisement like that.

I know from the beta team that they are analyzing that issue, please provide more informations about e.g. the steps for reproducing within the beta center. Thank you, this will help a lot!

ill try to get logs tonight im just not with that computer right now. i dont have avira installed on any i have with me at the moment. there is no specific way to reproduce it. its random. for example i can try to download a large .rar and it ends early (thinks its finished but really it did not) then i can start the very same download again and it will either finish correctly or fail again rinse and repeat. there is no specific file that causes this or results. it works then it doesnt work again very random. do i cant give exact url's because they may work fine on the first try or the 3rd try no way to know ahead of time. i can assure you its as a result of avira because once turned off (real time and web i did not try each separate but i will asap) i have zero issues for as long as i leave it disabled. once turned back on its random again.

    Hi zfactor,
Seems that the issue happens under certain conditions only. Maybe we can see some hints within the webguard logfile.
Just an idea, do you have any network / security filters installed, maybe as WFP drivers?

i have not had this happen in the past few days but i am keeping an eye on it. i did just get the new beta update today so ill try a whole bunch of large downloads and keep you posted, it is very sporadic when it happens. when it does i get nearly all downloads that are of a decent size fail but then it seems to somehow stop being an issue for a while.

had this issue again last night. had 4 downloads working and each was about 800mb - 1gb in data from my office and all but one failed somewhere in the middle. i restarted the failed ones and still had 2 fail again. turned off web filter and they all finished fine after that. they were .rar packed files that were of documents from my office (invoices, receipts, cust info etc i was backing up). did not see it in a while so thought all was good but only until last night.

Hey... Please take a look into Avira's webguard.log and see if there are any error messages within this time period.

no errors at all the only things that even say warning is when i had to disable the web shield to complete my downloads but nothing that says error or looks out of the ordinary and a single detection from a download nothing else.

Yes we're going to integrate Teamviewer into our OE Launcher. Sure an expert like you won't need such an integration but a lot of non-expert users cannot deal with another installation of another tool. So they can get help through this way without the need of looking for a suitable tool.

It seems a little odd. If a Free user needs help, forums are here already. What's the use of TeamViewer? Premium support is only for paid users anyway.
