I had to shutdown WSA because when i do a scan with Defraggler i see a lot of fragments of a dbXXXXdb WRData or something because something needs to be Whitelisted by the WSA Cust Serv People.

How will WSA treat extremely weak CPUs? Assuming you have 8GB RAM and 7200 RPM HD?

There's nothing lighter on a system I have it installed on a 12 year old P4 2.6 with 1GB of RAM on Windows XP and it runs fine.

    If that helps?

also if you contact support they can add the keys together. what i mean is for me they just extended my current lic by the time for the new lic key then just basically made the new key no longer work. this was just within the last few months so im sure they could help you out with it they are always very good to me.

    Hi guys.

I just purchased the 3 pc pack, is it the same software or is 'Internet Security Plus' more bloated as its a different name, but was no option to buy the AV product for 3 pc's.

Also do I need to keep ESET running alongside or is this viable as a replacement for nod32?

I feel nod32 is slower in its latest version and I like the new cloud/rollback system for webroot.

You can run both but I mostly recommend WSA to be used on its own to other people. Even if some AVs can be used alongside another AV I never recommend it for various reasons.

You can run it alongside ESET, I haven't heard of any issues with running WSA with it. Generally speaking WSA will run fine with other AV's, its rare that we have any issues. When they do happen its normally a quick fix to solve the problem

Excluding Bitdefender. I was in contact with a support technician and after a 3 hour long remote session it was concluded that either Bitdefender or WSA had to go - they couldn't be used together.

    Well it
Well it's a new cheap black Friday sale computer with AMD E-2500 dual core which is known to be very slow. It got 7200 RPM HD and Im gonna stick into it 8GB RAM but the CPU will be the bottleneck. It will be dual boot Debian or Centos with Windows 8. I will take out most of the Lenovo bloat-ware. So Im gonna demo WSA on this computer first and If it runs smooth will probably buy a license. If you guys know best place to buy one with a discount of some sort I would also appreciate.
It will replace my x120e which is single core and won't even run Netflix well because its single core AMD crap E240 I believe.
Hmmm which gives me an idea. Let me try demo version on that one.

yeah those e series laptops are SLOW. i have worked on some of them and man for a modern machine they are dismally slow. i think webroot would be about as good as you could do on one of those. the cpu is def the bottleneck there.

Yes he can contact support if he has more then one WSA-ISP keycodes if he wants to add years together but the concern here is what Roy said going from WSA-Complete to WSA-ISP if you have been using Back Up & Sync make sure you retrieve your files before your WSA-Complete keycode runs out as well as your Passwords as you can transfer the Passwords on to your new WSA-ISP keycode.

Look for deals on Newegg.com if you live in the US. See here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832296083&cm_re=webroot-_-32-296-083-_-Product and if you want choose for 1 year 3PC's or Mac's.

    Thanks,

    Daniel :)

Get another one or two and Contact Webroot Customer Service and get them to add it onto your current one to make it a 2/3 year 3 PC's or Mac's?

    Cheers,

    TH :)

That would be really nice. But I will use this year to evaluate how well WSA performs and hopefully next black Friday they will have similar deal.

Ok sounds even better. I need to see how well WSA can handle URL blocking. Last time I bought Norton 1 year licensed it let me to download PUP/malware and it's data base claimed it was safe. Avira has a good web protection and so does ESET. Lets hope this guy performs well.
