Processor Fan Stopped

    Yesterday, I was using my computer as usual. Suddenly, Intel Desktop Utilities alerted me, my processor fan was stopped. Sure enough, I checked and the RPM was shown as 0, while normally its around 1100-2000. This was new to me, so shut down and restarted. After that, its working as supposed to. I checked briefly, and the connections are fine, nothing to block the fan.

    Does anyone know why it might have been stopped suddenly? My board is DH61WW and this is the stock fan.

    Ok, I could understand others but humidity?

    cat hair + humidity = felt

    The ghost in the machine or the cheap PSU.
