@roger_m: I recommend Linux Mint. No sense in grinding HDD over a monster when a puppy can take it's place :)

I have a another laptop which is twice as fast which I am going to put the hard drive from this one in and use my main laptop as soon as I've added more RAM to it. Then I might have a play with Mint on this one.

However, aside from when an antivirus is slowing it down or I'm getting low on RAM, the laptop I'm using now runs quickly. I'm changing laptops since my current one only has a 32 bit processor, and I need to have 4GB RAM installed. I would never change to a more powerful laptop just so I could run antivirus software.

Finally, they removed the "Forum" section from 360 Facebook page!
A step in the right direction!

Why keep Facebook forum when you can have Google+ page? :)

I have Total Security and it works fine on a LUA. I could not get 360IS it work with a LUA. Hopefully that will change with the next version.

Did they mention when we might see a new build? I assume we can expect to see Avira sigs like their Chinese version.

So very happy for you guys :-*
You made it happen, you were patient and persistent, you were real qihoo fans!

For that, you have my greatest Thank You! :thumb:

I assume development will continue, although it might be a slightly slower than TS, but it will be resumed!

I'm done, let's poison ourselves with alcohol and songs! *puppy*

    Hi

So it lives on - great news - the decision per se is what i have been waiting for since i uninstalled it .

One question about the program though - is anyone else having it together with MBAM premium and if so do you experience any conflicts between the 2 ? I always feelt a little nervous that 360´s defence´s would conflicting with MBAM´s .

Have you recently looked at MBAM forum?
Is seems like MBAM v2 conflicts with itself, let alone another antivirus....
And look at Website blocking section: every other answer is "This will be unblocked on the next update"

I believe 360 is more than enough by itself.

    Hi,

    I have a 2 question.

    1. How does 360IS deals with ransomware assuming it got through?
    2. How does 360IS deals with malware that inject its own code into system files rendering system files corrupted.

Does it have some kind of rollback feature like KIS or WSA?

    Thanks

It does have system repair engine [windows system files / settings got corrupted it restores if it finds an anomaly].
If it finds something unknown, it will ask to upload it to their systems. In a short time [give or take 0.5-3 hours] their AI
will find malware behaviour, boom, scan again, it will find the prick and remove it. The power of cloud :)

I am asking about 360IS. Not 360TS. Is it even in the English version?
2nd, is the email support still active?

I thought TS include 5 engines BD, Avira, QVMII, Repair, 360 Cloud while
IS only have 3 engines BD, QVM II and 360 Cloud. There is no mention of Repair engine in IS

Sure, I guess GakunGak just wanted to say QVMII, not Repair.

That is correct, my bad, sorry for the confusion.

So if QVMII is in charge of it, then what does repair engine in TS for?
