I would like to use rescue CD from anti-malware vendor that supports UEFI boot. Anybody have any suggestion or experience?
Is there a reason the rescue CD needs UEFI support? I've read that in the UEFI setup the boot can be changed to legacy mode to enable rescue CDs. By the way you may find this thread helpful: http://www.eightforums.com/performa...y-cds-uefi-free-macrium-reflect-vs-aomei.html
Yes I know about changing boot mode but I would prefer to use CD that supports UEFI. I don't know what you meant with the link. I have no problems booting Macrium boot CD in UEFI mode.
Beyond having a personal preference is there a technical advantage to having a rescue CD with UEFI support?
