I cannot get the "find" window to open in Google Chrome. I see that if I perform an F3 or CTRL-F and type in some letters the "find" feature initiates (words on the page turn the appropriate color) but it is of little use as I cannot arrow up or down or know the word count. Is anyone else having this problem too? If this is some new feature of Chrome it is a deal breaker for me. I'm already using Pale Moon because I must have the F3 find feature available.

This is not normal behaviour. Try incognito mode with all extension disabled. If still having this problem, create a new profile.

I tried all the above and nothing helped. I have appguard and est and I'm assuming some update or registry entry got borked. I'm going to try a few more things.
