Just pointing out that Bing does work correctly because spinning circles are annoying.

Regarding the never ending spinning circles and Google Chrome search results, you should see a silver shield icon in the top right corner of your address bar. If you click on it and allow "load unsafe script" the checkmarks should now appear. On a sidenote the HTTPS connection then reverts to HTTP only because of the unsafe script.

Maybe this is of interest to @Rakanisheu

It's a known issue and it's because of the way the Web Shield interacts with the Browser and they are working on it and the last I heard maybe by the end of the year or early next year please see here: https://community.webroot.com/t5/We...e-on-my-green-lock-on-google/m-p/157701#M8937 & https://community.webroot.com/t5/We...e/Lock-Broken-in-Address-Bar/m-p/153023#M8792 also see my post here in this thread: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thre...ion-update-thread.364655/page-17#post-2417199

    Thanks,

    Daniel ;)

Well for one Webroot is not using the year anymore and when the next version is ready it will be v8.0.5.xxx PC and for the Mac version v8.0.7.xxx they are doing a different model via a Road Map things they will be doing through out the next year such as improvements and any new additions if any, sorry that's all I can say as I'm under NDA at Webroot. But they do have some great plans on the map and of course no added bloat! I like the plan so I'm sure you will to!

    HTH,

    Daniel ;)

i assume previous unused lic's (new boxed one's from newegg) will still work with future versions?? really hope they have no plans to change this like joe always said previously.

Yes they will still work but if you still have 2011 Legacy all letter keycodes and older you will have to go through Support to get them converted to the Alphanumeric keycodes for WSA.

Even better but if you do have issues Support will always help you! The only ones I don't like is From Best Buy because they Activate at the Cashiers station and some don't know that and they install a couple of months later to find out why they didn't get a full year and that's in the US only as we have Best Buy up here in Canada without that process!

    Thanks,

    Daniel

i just have a stack i bought from a large (legit) distributor when they were closing them out. im almost through them but have about a dozen i think left (bought over 500 at the time)

i agree i hate the best buy ones. you also have to watch because they stick people on the auto renewal for almost all av's also and its billed most times through best buy

I threw my 3 year license in the garbage due to their crazy FPs and will never try Webroot again. I'd rather have a virus than deal with constantly having to seek support to whitelist this and whitelist that. It's like they consider every file out there a virus until people complain.

Heck, their URL blocker is the worst, it's a nightmare!

Very easy to make a light AV this way, block everything and whitelist on demand! LOL
