Still in 1.75 but will give this a shot. I still have the installer for 1.75 if I run into any problems with this new version.

So far so good here also. Actually I'm quite surprised that it is working well compared to the disasters experienced in the past. (Cautiously Optimistic) :thumb: Let's give it a week or so and see how it's running then, just to be sure with the updating and scans etc..

I'll try it out after my next AX64 snapshot. Just had success with VirtualBox 4.3.18, so high expectations for this

    *Success! Thanks MBAM team.

The Malicious Website Protection keeps getting disbled on both of my Windows 7 x64 machines since the update.

I too have the same problem. Clicking "Fix Now" button does nothing.

Yep! And a complete uninstall using mbam-clean.exe and reinstalling doesn't help either. I've manually enabled the protection both through the settings and by right clicking the tray icon yet it is still saying it's disabled. :(

Well done Malwarebytes, you've 'fixed' it until it broke.

Same here. It was OK since the upgrade about 10 hours ago. I went over to the MBAM forum to post up something and a boatload of users already did so. MBAM is aware.

According to my logs this issue rolled in with the 2014.10.14.1 to 2014.10.14.2 database update at 03:55 UTC here in the SW USA. UPDATE: I HAD THIS ONE NAILED!

I've just spent the last 2 hours dealing with the same problem on Win8 x64 finally it's back to working after uninstalling then a full manual search and clean through the registry for "Malwarebytes"

After install and registration I ran it's first scan which crashed the system, system rebooted into a black screen and Malwarebytes continued with its scan ( nothing found ), then I had to hard shut down the system and after restarting again it is finally working:isay:

I just clicked Fix Now again and this time it worked! I hope it stays like that too.

Edit - At least it's fixed on one of my machines.

It is still starting with Windows even tho Start with Windows is unchecked in Advanced Options.

And this is new: the "Delay Protection at startup for..." insists upon remain checked no matter how many times I've unchecked it. That is, uncheck, close UI, open UI, it's checked. The settings in 2.0.2 were always NOTHING checked in Advanced Options.

Hi guys, we're having issues with one of our CDN providers and the syncing with our origin servers. It's causing sync issues on the client as well. We're working as quickly as we can on this!

If you were having issues, can you go ahead and click Check for Updates and then Fix Now?

FWIW, I was having the same issue on two 7x64 machines PRIOR to updating, so it looks like it wasn't related to the new release.

Just tried that but it didn't work.

One machine is fine again but the other refuses to enable malicious website protection

FYI the database is now 2014.10.14.06 and still the same situation.

Make that 2014.10.14.07. Gees you're pushing out some def's today. ;)

    Thanks.

This database sync issue has turned into a huge pain in the butt. It appears a complete reinstallation of the software (or simply deleting rules.ref!) resolves all issues. Basically, it lets MBAM sync back with the latest database. Let me know if that isn't resolving the issues.
