Very interesting, thank you for letting me know! So VS was in Training mode the whole time, and it was silently blocking things? This should be a super easy fix... let me see what I can do and I will post an update.

BTW, were you running 2.07? Thank you for your help!

You can if you want. All that was added was the fix for Piter's issue, so I guess it kind of depends on if it fixed the issue for him or not ;).

Sorry, for not getting back to you earlier, but I have had other computer issues. Not to do with VS! ;)

I got this in VS when accessing regedit, yesterday. I managed to get a screenshot, this time.

Yeah, unfortunately, at least for now, most of those 8 items (with the exception of rundll32) have to be blacklisted in XP when VS is ON. So it is working properly.

I am hoping the the KMD will fix this, but I am not convinced that it will.

Thank you Plamen for your help! Is there a chance that you can send me the DeveloperLog.log from the C:\ProgramData\VoodooShield directory? My email address is dan@voodooshield.com.

I am trying to reproduce this error on Windows 8.1, and knowing that the command prompt triggers it helps a lot, but I am not able to reproduce the error. What Windows 8 Start Menu Button are you using to try to launch those apps? I am using ClassicStart, and I do not have the options that you have on your start button. Thanks again!

Thank you TH for letting me know. I will be removing that code that I used to try to fix Plamen's issue, since it did not work anyway. But I can see how that code would create that issue... sorry about that!

Cool, thank you. And does it only happen after you try to launch the Admin Command Prompt, and only in Training Mode? Like, do you experience the same bug when VS is in Always ON mode, after you turn it OFF by left clicking the shield? Also, do you experience this bug when you try to launch a non-admin command prompt?

I think I see what is going on with Plamen's issue...

In Windows 8, if the user launches the command prompt from the build in start menu, it does not point directly to c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe. It actually points to a shortcut in this folder C:\Users\Dan\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX\Group3.

Hmmm, I will have to figure out what to do about that. That is kind of tricky since appdata and programdata are probably the most locked down folders, since they are malware's favorite hiding spots.

To test this theory... Plamen, can you please exit out of VS and then start it again. Then navigate to c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe and try to launch cmd.exe directly with VS in Training Mode? If everything works well after that, then we know what is causing the issue... we just have to figure out a way to fix it ;). Thank you!

After every restart in training mode and first warning from voodoo shield the bug is happening. After exit and start VS do not block cmd.And then restart system and again problem is here.

Here is the video with direct run from a system 32.

I think run as admin is the problem.
    The log is sent.

My account is with admin rights.

Ok, cool, thank you. One last question... if you uncheck the CMD box in the Settings / Tweaks tab, does the bug still exist?
