Trying to backup files on a sony vaio vgn nr11z/s using the vaio recover which starts windows backup. AbouT 75% in it fails. Disabled av and firewall

    Error 0x80070005 refes to

But ms link says give permissions. I do not know what folders do not have permissions.

is there any program , example Acronis that will back up the files if they are not accessible. Not a disk image because it needs reinstall or might put win 8 on it. So I want to back up the files and folder/email/photos/documents etc to an external disk

Of course I've no idea if those circumstances exist on your machine David.

No I am not using D as a back up. G is my external disk. and recovery is not enabled for system restore. Would acronis do this job? And what version would be best. Trial would do it I guess
