bit.ly no longer free?

I have attempted several links to have shortened on bit.ly but every time there is a "Uh oh, bitly can't show you the page you are trying to access." There's also a new ad running on their home page about pricing, products, ect.

FWIW I noticed the error only happens when using Chrome and ad block enabled. With IE 11 and no ad block bitly works ok.

The new bitly website won't work with older versions of firebox (prior to 29). I'm still running FF28 because I detest the UI on FF29, so back to tinyurl

 

Have you tried this one http://app.x.co/ ? I've been using it the last few days and like it. The shortened links seem to usually be shorter than what tinyurl has...although I think tiny seems pretty good otherwise
