I'm afraid I rushed too soon to buy licenses for 6 computers because a lot of things are confusing me.

For instance the size of the backups as reported when the operation is complete. Here's an example of total backup size on one of my computers:14.81GB, 15.2GB, 20.72GB, 20.64GB, 436.24GB, 455.86GB.

This is all very confusing to me because in this case the SSD is only 256GB.

Any chance some of you fine folks can put me straight?

    Thanks

    jadinolf,

How many partitions are on the SSD?
    Which OS?
What is the size of the partition you are imaging?
How much Free Space is in the partition?
Are these Full images, incremental or differential?
Are the images manual or scheduled?
Where are you storing the images?

    Thanks for the reply Brian.

I gave up on Acronis yesterday afternoon and went back to another backup program.

I am simply not computer savvy enough to use that program.

    I appreciate your post however.

    jadinolf,

You have spent a lot of money. It is probably something simple you have done wrong to create those large images. Want to see what was wrong?
