NOD32 is not updating virus database - 18 Sept 2014 There is also a thread at the Eset forum: https://forum.eset.com/topic/3259-nod32-not-updating-signature-database/ Reply by Marcos in that thread: Manually trying to update (on two PC's) didn't work; will try later.

There are other threads at the Eset forum about it, like: https://forum.eset.com/topic/3263-smart-security-not-updating-virus-signatures/ === In the meanwhile virus signature database version 10441 has been released (on 18 Sept or on 19 Sept 2014). http://www.eset.com/us/threat-center/threatsense-updates/ says 18 Sept 2014. My update (got it after several manual attempts) says Virus signature database: 10441 (20140919)
The ESET Support Forum has Moved... https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/the-eset-support-forum-has-moved.362391/
But ... it doesn't mean that those who are aware of the new Forum that were invited via PM's from ESET staff who have existing accounts there - should be posting there //not here//
Hi SweX, Thank you for the quote from Marcos. I just had again some problems updating from database 10441 to 10443, for whatever reason. Let's hope things will settle down in the coming days.

Just a thought on this slow virus signature update thing. Am I right in thinking that if you don't have the latest update you will still be fully protected from the ESET cloud if you are always online?
