    I meant Adguard Assistant userscript, not browser's extension

    We've just released patch for Adguard 5.10.
    You can update to it manually (autoupdate is disabled for now).

    Changelog:
    * Improved HTTP and HTML filtering, fixed some minor bugs in it.
    * Fixed issue with some keep-alive connections (issue with theverge images)
    * Fixed some issues with Adguard userscripts (Assistant and WOT)
    * Fixed bug with domain restrictions in CSS rules
    * Decreased filters update period

    The link is:
    http://download.adguard.com/d/2/adguardInstaller.exe

    We're under heavy ddos right now so I am not sure that it will work for you.
    Some routes are ok but not all yet.

    Why not, perhaps hackers on order of a competitor or other interested groups. We need to see that Adguard scored the largest rise among ad blocking applications recently so he might be a logic target of an attack. Driven either by competitors or by advertising companies which are the most plagued.

    Damn :( At 22 o'clock forum was working, at midnight it was down. Poland -> Warsaw Cloudflare is still down. I hope you come back soon.
    BTW ddos seems really high if cloudflare doesn't check browser before accesing servers OR maybe it's configured that way

    The attack was not on us, but on our hosting provider (which is the other product of our company). Estimated strength is 40Gbps and because of it all network channels (including two reserve channels) were affected and we've got packet loss around 20-40%. As far as I know the attack is still here but looks like we have almost handled it now.

    It's not only Avast. My home UTM appliance is a Zyxel USG60 BND, which uses a combination of Bluecoat and Commtouch for Web Filtration (depending on filter rules), it blocks almost everything Adguard. In addition some IP addresses for Adguard are blocked by other solutions I use. Adguard installer is blocked by some AV's because apparently it contains a PUP/PUA (Yandex Toolbar). I wonder what is going on?

    I think that the problem is that Firefox extension still on review on AMO. Let's wait until we pass it.

    We will send false-positive reports to Bluecoat and Commtouch, thank you! What for installer, we offer Yandex.Browser to Russian users. The thing is that Yandex.Browser contains our freeware extension by default, some kind of an exchange here.

    Yandex Toolbar, not browser. The toolbar is coming up as a PUP/PUA by many AV's, and rightfully so. apparently it's a stubborn unwanted pest. You may consider region specific installers to avoid this. I cannot install Adguard unless I disable my protections. Now Adguard is blocked at the gate by Kaspersky Enterprise (UTM appliance) version. So you may want to consider some action in this area.

    Yandex Toolbar has been discontinued 3 years ago so there's no such thing anymore.
    But I understand what's going on, it detects the silent installer used for yandex browser.

    We'll update installer tomorrow and remove this.

    -Kaspersky Enterprise (Proxy/Flow UTM based Solution) is blocking this;
    http://download.adguard.com/setup.exe

    It says it is infected with unwanted PUP/PUA threats. It's stopped at my network appliance. My question is, what is in this that even Kaspersky, which is usually pretty lenient, doesn't like?

    @Mayahana
    I've answered it already. It contains yandex installer used to offer yandex browser to russian users.
    You can look at how it looks like here at 2:30 (video review on one of russian popular websites):

    Well let me know when this stuff is removed so I can try it. Right now I am not in the mood to DMZ everything just to download it since even ESET is flagging it now.

    Heh, it's rather funny because ESET offers yandex software to russian users too:)
    We'll remove it tomorrow as I've said.
