Does anyone run RamDisk Plus from Raxco here?

I wonder how good it is and if there are any known issues or incompatibilities?

I've wondered about their ram disk product too, but haven't tried it yet. Have you considered the 30 day trial?

I see that Softperfect Ram Disk is free for non-commercial use - nice. How do you use it? Do you map your browser cache to it?

Do you find that it makes a noticeable difference in performance or do you use it mainly to erase the temp/cache files when rebooting?

I knew you would ask that :)

My win7 OS seems more sluggish than my xp setup. I have the OS on an SSD along with the page file.

    No real difference to me.
I did it for interest mainly and I also use it for my XP OS setup.
Peerblock is faster on the ram disk but of course that is on spinning rust :)

I would not come to any conclusions with my setup not working correctly in win7.

Just suck it and see as it is easy to try and reverse if you dont like it.

I would recommend a ram disk for xp 32bit as i can use 4gig of unused memory for peerblock, cache, temp and even the page file.
Memory is 8gig on this desktop.

I use ramdrive from qsoft, although they changed their name and since then I no longer get new versions (they send via email).
