When installing the latest updates the ones I selected seem to install. Seemed, in that a window indicated they did. After rebooting I checked again to see what updates were available for my machine and all of the original showed up. I again checked off the ones I wanted and again a window showed they were successfully installed. Rebooted only to see the same. When checking Windows Update History I see where my updates were installed successfully TWICE. I have never seen anything like this before. What might be going on?

If there's a badly written patch, hide it.

A poorly written patch will never install and Microsoft's quality control isn't always 100% in that department.

@NormanF.....Yes, I am aware of sentence #2. Do not understand sentence #1........Thank you for responding.

@TairikuOkami......I have Win7. Still looking online for answers. Have tried a few things, but is still not working. I am thinking, in that Windows Update History is showing installed, that the updates probably did stick, but still working on it. Thank you for responding.
