    Thanks for posting that up.

Still having 167 days remaining on the previous GAOTD license, I figured what-teh-heck, activated this license and now I'm out to August 4th next year. So "only" more six months free. Life is Good. :thumb:

ZA is very generous in giveaways. It seems you can use their lic for free for good.

I guess they are trying to build awareness and a market for their product.
I doubt they will continue with these offers for good.

Too bad this replaces my license instead of extending it.

Yep. That's the only downside. As I posted above, I got "only" six months. I've a good mind to write a strongly worded letter and let 'em know I'll never buy any of their free stuff again!

On another less-used system I have a ZAL license expiring in December. I snagged a 1-year license from windowsdeal dot com last month which doesn't seem to have an activation deadline as did this GAOTD deal.

I'm going to give that a try in December. If it doesn't work then, I'll just have to buy another license. After acquiring a discount code, of course. They're easy to find - I've never paid more than US$17, the most recent at $12.

Unless another GAOTD deal shows up. In which case I might get "only" eight or nine months for free... :'(

    Cheers.

Thats because they consistently do very poor in tests they have to give it away. In testing they are failing against the most common key log testers. They even failed against their own software.

I posted a link in another thread in which a guy tested it against many other options only to find this along with two others actually stopped zero days for banking. Shows with screen shots ect and doesn't appear biased. Don't know if players paid for testing or not.

I am always getting warnings from ZAL about programs trying to inject code on new installs lol

How incredulous that same irrelevant years-old crapola keeps getting regurgitated.

Yeah that and the financial malware MRG tests results were AWFUL!

My ZAL currently has 119 rules in various states of allow/block, 18 of which are keyloggers. And two Webcam loggers.

This app is more than just anti-keylogger at which no one app is all that competent. The system defense and real-time Virus Total API alone are worth the cost of admission:

    Cheers.

Well, that's what new apps tend to do when they install. And ZAL is not for those adverse to making decisions even when configured at its "quietest" settings. It gets real crazy when you turn off all the "automatically..." ones. :)

Thats funny. There is actually a bug in code they have yet to fix as well. If one thing is disabled in any of the modules, none of the protection works. Its been proven.

Oh, first it don't do anti-keylogging (fails their own test, dontcha know) and now there's a proven bug.
    Actually, I don't care.
I didn't install it so I could disable modules.

The folks at Zemana were very generous a couple of years ago and gave us quite a few licences to give out here at Wilders.

Maybe they will read this and do it again. :)

It really is very good software.
