    According to Softpedia it's ad-supported.

Here's what everyone needs to pay attention to:

    Citrio.jpg

Clicking "Decline" will cancel the installation procedure. I stopped trying after it because I don't know if it will install the toolbar system-wide or just for Citrio. But one obvious thing is it seems that you can't use this web browser without the Ask toolbar (read the agreement part in the screenshot).

You've got to love open source software. It really allows everyone stealing the software and make their own optimised version. :argh:

Well, calling it "stealing" is kind of rude. I meant "defrauding". (just kidding!)

I don't know exactly why, especially after reading the comments, but WOT gives the site a red/poor warning. VirusTotal seems fine except for 'Webutation' which flags it as suspicious.

There is array of Chromium-based browsers. I found this list and on Wiki.

If you are planning on getting used to a browser and sticking with it for years to come, I wouldn't touch any clone browsers, and that includes the Firefox ones as well.

Agree. I use Opera Chromium and nothing more. This version of Opera is one of the best clone of Chromium, imo.
