Best wishes for 'em. I recently read a 'news bit' which stated that 27% of WinXP emigrants are (or indicate they intend to) moving to Linux.

The peachosi site makes a very nice presentation & includes a page which lists (and describes) many of the pre-installed applications.
The descriptions could benefit from being less terse (seem to be text parsed directly from dpkg output)(or something) but at least they made an effort.
Seems to me they are targeting the same audience as RoboLinux. To their credit, they are delivering a positive message
(vs preying on fears, which seems to be the tone throughout the RoboLinux site's pages).

One thing I have noticed with a lot of older computers is that when you try to install Ubuntu you get a message saying the CPU is not compatable with the kernal. Anyone have a way to fix this?
