Microsoft security sandbox for IE: Still broken after all these years

    To be honest, I don´t really care about IE, "enhanced protection mode" is cool and stuff, but IE is not suitable for "power browsing". :thumbd:

    Microsoft's response is IMO even more pathetically broken than the IE sandbox. Way to let down paying customers, guys.

    EPM is NOT enabled by default, where as it should be.

    1) No one pays for IE, it's a free browser.
    2) Their response is entirely accurate, it isn't a protected mode issue. It's an "exploit" which turns Protected Mode off.
    3) Their response is typical of a business wanting to respond with "something" but have no further info on the actual issue yet.

    People that use IE don't care about security anyway so it's not a real problem :argh:
