    Btw, what is the reason that it´s incompatible with Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit? I mean what of you disable exploit protecion in HMP.A? :)

    And what is the current status of compatibility with Sandboxie?

    Do not make this the other way around. MBAE beta's were compatible. When it went final it was no longer.

    So far, so good with CTP 2. I like the addition of the tray icon, it makes me feel safer somehow, lol.

    Hello,

    In HMP, I have the default scan set to EWS (yes, I am aware that is not recommended). If I right click the HMP.A tray icon and "Scan computer", it seems this setting is ignored and a "normal" scan is run (verified by scan logs). Is this a bug or will I have to always launch HMP manually (ie. not use HMP.A tray icon) in order to do an EWS scan?

    Erik, I was able to reproduce the iTunes crash on a less protected PC:
    • Windows 7 Home Premium x64
    • Microsoft Security Essentials 4.5.216.0
    • EMET 4.1 Update
    • Zemana AntiLogger Free 1.7.2.380
    • CryptoPrevent Premium 6.1
    I also discovered that the crash only occurs if you are logged in to the store with an Apple ID. Maybe that's why you guys did not see this?

    Just to be sure I created a new Apple ID (with no credit card coupled) and reproduced the crash. The dump has been mailed; I will PM you the password.

    Just to report that there are no major issues thus far, except for;

    I am experiencing slow PC startup, even with a SSD drive, +5 to 10 sec which is unusually slow in my case.

    Iv started experiencing Ctrl-C wrong commands from chrome URL bar, it opens up the save as dialogue.

    Moving out of the tab and re-entering the tab and trying Ctrl-C again works as normal.

    Ill investigate none the less.

    Regards.

    In regards to my previous post, i deleted all Windows error reports/logs via a bat file i have. Restarted the pc and looked through the logs. I found an entry that may be of help;

    It was in Audit failure and the error reads

    "Code Integrity determined that the page hashes of an image file are not valid. The file could be improperly signed without page hashes or corrupt due to unauthorized modification. The invalid hashes could indicate a potential disk device error".

    File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Windows\System32\hmpalert.dll

    regards.

    Hello TS4H,

    I also have been experiencing slower boots since installing latest version CTP 2 but have not see your other issue. I also have the same error seen in the event viewer...

    Hmm, not sure what it could be, but the slow down is greater with CTP2, i guess alot has changed since CTP1. Iv tried to minimize possible conflicting software but to no avail.

    With my keyboard issue, its still being investigated by the great people at SurfRight and has been ongoing since CTP1.

    Hopefully someone could shed some light.

    regards.

    Currently it performs a normal scan. We will address this in CTP3.

    The CTP-archives already have a document regarding the Exploit Test Tools.
    For the final release there will also be a document for the Alert application explaining how it works and how to use it.

    We have this issue under investigation. It is related to protected processes like AudioDg.exe.

    Are you running CTP2?
    Try temporarily disabling Active Vaccination, that should suppress the message from NoteExpress.

    We will investigate the slowdown. Regarding the keystroke encryption, nothing has changed between CTP1 and CTP2. It will most likely get improved in CTP3.

    What would be the price of the paid version? yearly, lifetime?
    Do you plan to have versions with and without HP?

    Alert is mostly a free product, only Active Vaccination and the Exploit Mitigation requires a license. All other features are free!
    The price for a license is the same as for HitmanPro as both HitmanPro and Alert use the same license.
    So if you buy a license, you can use both products and basically get one product for free.

    What do you mean with this question? Alert is a standalone product that can work with HitmanPro (downloaded separately). If you don't use HitmanPro, then do not use the Scan tile.

    @TSH4 and puff-m-d

    Do you use Norton Internet Security like I do? I'm also experiencing slow boot: 30 seconds Please wait...

    W7 64 bits, NIS and 3.0.12.73 CTP2.

    Hello deugniet,

    No, I use ESET Smart Security and I have set exclusions for HMP.A in both the anti-virus and HIPS but that did not help in my case...
