I am trying the latest IDM.

In Google Chrome, for video download, IDM Download this Video tab is only showing MP4 - 360p (Checked few HD videos on Youtube), is this correct or prob here?

    In IE, its showing fine i.e 240, 360, 480, 720, 1080p, etc...

IDM shows several resolutions in both IE and FF. So, it´s not a general IDM problem. Either a problem in your Chrome installation, or a problem in IDM´s Chrome support, which I doubt. I don´t use Chrome, so I can´t check.

I tested IDM Video Download & compared with Freemake Video Downloader & 4kvideodownloader.

    I tested with Youtube videos.

4kvideodownloader - is the best. It always correctly showed all the resolutions. Mostly it showed bigger file size compared to other 2. Checking & comparing the video with media info revealed that the quality of the video was better compared to other 2 i.e higher kbps for sound, etc...

Freemake Video Downloader - Quite a few times it shows wrong file size for 1080p. And sometimes the file size was confusing i.e bigger file size for 480p & low file size for 720p (not often but sometimes)

IDM - I noticed that it doesn't always shows all the resolutions for the videos i.e many a times it only showed 2 low resolutions only when infact the video had all the resolutions till 1080p. Tested & checked few times with other videos too & the results were same. IE 11 32 Bits was used for test. System Win 7 64.

I'm also having some problems with Chrome 36 and IDM under Windows 8.1 x64. Sometimes IDM only shows 1 resolution, sometimes 2, while Youtube shows 5 or 6 resolutions. The resolutions that are shown with IDM varies, sometimes low, sometimes high, while testing with HD streams. In IE11 all works fine.

As a workaround in Chrome you can first select the correct resolution in Youtube and then use IDM to download that specific resolution. Also this workaround sometimes causes IDM to spontaneously show more resolutions then it did before.

In IDM's changelogs ("News"), http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/news.html, there are several recent comments about problems with Chrome supposedly fixed, maybe not. Tests should be done with the latest version, 6.21.

I didn't said IDM didn't showed all the resolutions.
I said in my test it didn't showed all the available resolutions for quite a few videos but only showed 1-2 resolutions when infact Youtube showed all the resolutions.
Try checking 8-10 random Youtube videos & see if you get the resolutions correctly for all the videos.
    I tested with IE 11 32 Bits, IDM 6.21, Win 7 64

I'm using IDM v6.21, problem remains. But until it gets fixed, I'll use the workaround I found. I only download the highest resolution anyway, so it's not a real problem for me if it doesn't show all the resolutions. IDM will download whatever resolution I choose in Youtube. :)
