I slaved another harddisk with a Windows 7 and a data partition to my computer. Now Disk Management says it's not initialized, and I need to initialize it as MBR or GPT, but won't that make it unbootable?

Something is wrong. If the disk contains data, it´s already initialized, the Windows disk manager shouldn´t ask for initialization. Check the connection. If the problems persists, connect the disk to the computer in which it was working and backup your data before initializing it.
