    Thanks for the info.

For those thinking about purchasing IFW, the purchase includes IFD, IFL, IFU and TBOSDT.

I'll wait for a while until the new v3.0 releases, and then I'll place the order.
was wondering if they have a bundle of BIBM+IFW with some sort of discount?
I found BIBM to be a great partition manager. It was the only one that successfully restored my deleted GPT partitions. All others I tried did not work at all.

    oliverjia,

Do you know something we don't know? Ver 3 could be years away. BIBM was announced almost two years prior to its release. I'm hoping for a "BIBM" that works with UEFI but there is no talk that it will happen.

The TeraByte apps are updated every month or two. TeraByte users know that but I just mention it for non users.

    good points, Brian!
Yes it could be more than a year before the v3 release of IFW/IFL.
You probably already know this, BIBM is now integrated into IFL boot disk, so if you have a serial number of BIBM you can enter it during creation of IFL boot disk. The boot disk support UEFI/GPT.

That is a great feature. BIBM will boot in a UEFI system if you disable Secure Boot and enable Legacy BIOS. Practically, BIBM will boot on some (I don't know how many) UEFI systems if you don't disable Secure Boot or enable Legacy BIOS. Both BIBM and IFD disks boot in my UEFI system without changing the UEFI BIOS. But you can't install BIBM to the HD in a UEFI system.

How does Image for Windows compare with Macrium Reflect? Are there advantages and disadvantages for each?

The BIBM integrated IFL boot disk boots fine on all my UEFI Secure boot enabled computers, including laptops and desktops.
I never tried install BIBM onto hard disk, only used it in a boot USB.

Using BIBM installed on Drive 0 (my SSD) is important to me as I have ten OS on the SSD and another 15 on Drive 1. Multi-booting is a serious interest and that's why I haven't installed Win8 in UEFI mode on this computer. My son doesn't need multi-booting so his Win8 is installed in UEFI mode. Apart from his computer booting a couple of seconds faster, I can't see any difference in OS performance.

LOL, thanks a lot for the info! It's right on the top of their main page.. Great deal. I'll probably wait for another year until they probably release IFW v3.0 by then.

Mainly Windows 8 variants. But a few Ubuntu, a few Win7, a few WinXP, a few DOS, a few WinPE and a TBOS. I mainly use them for image/restore testing. I don't sit here running apps in WinXP.

When Win9 comes along I'll just add it to the ten already on the SSD as I still have over 100 GB of unallocated free space.

I hope I've got this correct. When BIBM was announced as a future boot manager the deal was if you bought BING before BIBM was released you got BIBM for free. BIBM was released two years later. TeraByte Unlimited hasn't increased prices since I bought my first Bundle in 2007. For apps updated every month or two, they are great value.
