How many of you are using the new version (with the bitdefender engine enabled) I keep having a urge to try this out but something
keeps me from really going for it.

Maybe its the old stigmata of past experiences with it (BSOD's on 3 computers, terrible detection rates ect.)

    I wish they'd clarify things

either they make the plus version (with Bitdefender) free,
and that would make an attractive choice

either they stick with the cloud/Clam AV,
and stay irrelevant on the AV scene

Seems they have clarified things now: http://forum.immunet.com/index.php?...-gui-updating-to-version-31129665/#entry11077

I've pasted the below as a quote from the above referenced post.

    QUOTE

    Hi all,

Just to say it once more, if you are still having issues please contact support@immunet.com.

Additionally, the 'new' features were not features at all, but bugs with the User Interface.

And, to answer loskamita's question about putting BitDefender in Immunet Free, the answer is that it is still on the table and we haven't made a decision one way or another in that respect. We will improve Immunet Free in the future, but this may or may not include current Plus Features (in addition to some entirely new aspects).

    Thank you,

    -Jose

I would steer clear as it gave me problems like system lock-ups on win 7 64 bit.

FOXP2, are you still at a loss to back your words about "their documentation explained the concept rather well" with a link?
