That I agree. If you're not at your PC and there's a 30 second countdown to allow/block, say your process goodbye as it will block by default...

    Hi

Here is an odd problem that i do not understand that i would like to have solved .

When i use my IE browser in the sandbox in TS or IS some of my favorites (URL adresses ) becomes dead after having clicked them once so the second time they do not react and it is random sites but consistently the same . Example - filehippo - sharewareonsale and softpedia e.t.c . Running the browser outside of the box is no problem at all .

The problem do not occur in SandboxIE .

Anyone got an idè for a solution ?

Don't you just love change logs stating "Bug Fixes" and "Performance Improvements"? I mean, sure I'm glad to update my software but at least tell me what bugs were fixed and what improvementes were made...

Had to turn off Network Threat Blocking because it was slowing down page loading in Slimjet Browser.I thought it was the Browser until i turned that function off.

Does this happen with every browser or just this particular one?
Disabling even one protection module is a risk higher of infection/breach, IMO it is better to troubleshoot the problem.

It only happens in Slimbrowser.I tried Comodo Dragon & Google Chrome,& it didn't happen with them.It also affected my torrent program when i use Slimjet only. that i use(qBittorrent).
Everything went back to normal after i disabled the Network protection. You would think it's the browser, but why does it work fine when i disable network?
I don't know if it's on Slimjet's or 360's side that causes it.

Question is, why does it happen with Slimjet?
Maybe compatibility issue? Could you please report this to Qihoo, which version of Slimjet/Slimbrowser you use, it's web homepage, your OS and architecture [32 or 64], and all scenarios the slowdown happens? Thank you.
I use qbittorrent and all seems OK. Never used Slimjet.
May I suggest using EpicBrowser if you need lightweight browser?
EDIT: What you might be looking for in a browser is this one:
    http://en.browser.baidu.com/
Please try it out and see how it goes with it

    Ok here's a reply from 360:
Now STOP. Do not go ballistic on them.
I think for the time being we should give them a month or two of weekly Questions/Answer thing with top 5 most wanted questions.
Then someone should email them and post back answers.
Again, do not spam their PM, they care and will try to post here from time to time, let's take this to a professional level first.
What needs to be done is greet them here "by the way", and slowly integrate them into interaction.
So, first things first, we need a person to start collecting MOST wanted questions and ship them off to Qihoo. Make sure to provide question in BOLD letters in order for it not to be missed accidentally.
    I'll start:

Does Total Security have Behaviour Blocker or HIPS?

P.S. Please be polite and patient. Guideline: not polite [your products sucks, uninstalled, not working, etc...]. Not patient [why has my question not answered 10 minutes ago?!].
Polite [Total Security has slowed down my machine, I have xyz OS/CPU/RAM, after restart program xyz.exe is disabled/not working after doing 1,2,3 actions in Total Security], patient [hi, I sent message 2 days ago, maybe you missed it, could you please look into it, thanks]...
P.S.2: For urgent stuff, like something not working, still send email/facebook and expect a reply from them. Be patient, they shall reply as soon as possible.

I don't know why it happens.I tried Spark a couple times before & didn't like it.I just tried Epic & also didn't like it.I really like Slimjet that i made it my default browser over Comodo Dragon. Those are my 2 favorite browsers.Superbird was 3rd,but the syncing is not working properly.
I think i will uninstall 360 Total Security for now.I also have Comodo Antivirus installed & that should be good enough.

I was about to suggest adding whole folder as trusted and check the logs, but now that it is gone, well.... Nothing we can do :)
Yeah, Comodo should be good enough, for extra risky websites, use Untrusted/Blocked for BB. Just in case...

Kind reminder: ask questions you would like answer to. Someone [or myself] should send 5 of them this Sunday, marking it Week #1. If not, I shall compile a few [will read few pages back and try to make that list] and report back any reply.

    Dear Qihoo,

I present generated top 5 questions for Wilders Security.

I appreciate all your effort in keeping us informed.

1: When will Limited User Account issue be resolved? [Having to provide admin password in order to run the program]

2: Why is developement on 360 Internet Security in much slower developement ratio compared to Total Security,

and what is the future of 360 Internet Security longterm?

3: Does Total Security have HIPS/BB? Will there be new technologies developed, or automatically/ask to sandbox unknown/suspicous samples?

4: Will BitDefender/Avira signature update increase from 2 per day to much higher number and what version of engines 360 uses for those 2 av's?

5: What future features can we expect for 360 Total Security, 360 Internet Security and 360 Browser?

Since no one wanted to contribute, I had to tinker and make the list myself.
I will post reply on both threads.

Just disable auto-response. You can get much more control over PrivateFirewall that way.

    Questions gathering starts now.
I urge all concerned to participate, as there was a feedback regarding my choice of words as "not good".
Remember to bold so that I do not skip. Questions launch on Sunday.
    Thank You!

A Dumb question... Can IS and TS be used together? Like both have AV components right?
Note: Haven't explored TS, installed and uninstalled.. Didn't like it..

Total Security is IS+Cleaning/Optimization. It would not be recommended to run both of them together.

    Hi

I know i have read somewhere that someone else had this problem but i can not remember a solution or an explanation for it - i hope someone here has one .

When i start up my Pc the action center say`s that 360TS is inactive - but when i look in the program it say`s it is on and in "services" it is on and processes shows some action on and off .
So what is up and what shall i make of it - it makes me uncertain and of course it is not satisfactory so i am thinking of shifting Av .

Anyone knows something about this issue .

Known problem. It was supposed to be fixed already. I shall report this problem, hopefully in time before major release this month....

It is active and running, just not registering with Action Center....

I don't have this program installed anymore but when I did, it had the Action Centre problem to begin with. The program itself said it was running. Since the 360 processes showed up in Task Manager, I thought it a pretty good indication that the program was protecting as it should and it was only the 'registering with the Action Centre' part that wasn't. I can't remember what those processes are now but worth a look in Task Manager to identify them and make sure they are running.

Program GUI Enable/Disable is working, and also try to infect yourself or modify someting, or better yet, check the logs, you'll see entries there.
It is working, just not registering as active with Action Center. As already said, known problem, was supposed to be fixed.
