Steadier State

    Too bad their is not a Windows 8.1.1 Pro version for X64 Operating System? :(
    I would trying Steadier State!;)

    I think there was a program called Steady State by M***osoft...Is this the same prog? It had mixed reviews.

    That's right Patrick, MS did offer SteadyState (for Win XP and Vista), but they discontinued it just about the time Win7 was introduced. Win7 (Enterprise/Ultimate Edition only!) has a native VHD Boot feature which the developer of SteadierState (Mark Minasi) has seemingly automated.

    I'm not sure if/why Mark Manasi limited SteadierState to Win7, as VHD Booting is doable in Win8.

    Quite hefty disk space requirement or am I reading this wrong?
