I got this problem with Hitman Pro (64-bit) v3.7.9.216 while scanning. (Using it on Windows 7)
I'm using startup scan and so far it has worked fine, until today it suddenly and unexpectedly crashed during the scan. I tried to re-scan it couple of times, but the results were same. Then I tried to scan it in safe mode, but still it crashed. Then I re-installed to whole HitmanPro from the very start, but even that didn't help. I even tried to remove some new programs I had downloaded/updated in past 2 days (scanning worked normally yesterday) in the case some of them was somehow blocking the scan. Didn't help either. It seems the crash happens mostly when it has already passed 18-25% of the scan.
I sent a message to support@hitmanpro.com and I'm still waiting their answer, but if someone here knows what the problem might be, then it would be very much helpful.

 

HitmanPro 3.7.9 218 beta working fine on vista 32 bit and windows 7 64 bit.......

 

Can you perform a scan with the following command line:

C:\Program Files\HitmanPro\hitmanPro.exe /debug:full

And send the crashlog via wetransfer.com to erik[at)surfright.com.

Latest beta ran fine. If it took longer than usual, it is because it was running together with scheduled nightly WSA scan.

 

About the problem with beta 218/W7 64 bits. I started a conversation with the link to download het minidump (164 mb).

For the HitmanPro 3.7.9 Build 218 BETA. Do you have a removal tool for un-installing HitmanPro 3.7.9 Build 218 BETA after testing?
Also, do you have a Removal for the HitmanPro 3.7.9 Build 216 with Kickstart 2.3? So, that I can do a clean install of HitmanPro? Can you include the links.

The BETA's do not install, so there is no need for uninstall.

The Hitman Pro BETA's run from the downloaded file. So just delete that one and you're fine.
Can you be a bit more clear about the message? Have you activated the trial license to remove malware?

I had a copy install for the last 3 years which is coming to end. I thought that I would try the latest
beta version for my remaining days of Hitman Pro. So, I un-install the normal version. And in-stall the
beta, in which that I what I am talking about at the present for the last 3 days. Which started out at 24
days, after being activated.

But, I would like to do a clean install of Hitman Pro and remove all registry entries. That is why I am for
a removal tool.

 

If you had an activated license for HitmanPro that ended in 24 days, the same 24 days apply to the remaining time for the license with the beta, I suppose.
The beta is not meant to offer a new free license if one's HitmanPro license is ending, I guess. I think you can understand that.

I think that is not an option.
Once the HitmanPro license is activated (to remove malware) and the license has been used, there is no way to reset that.
If you need a new license to remove malware, you need to buy a new license.
As I said, the beta is not meant to offer a new free license if one's HitmanPro license is ending, nor is there a HitmanPro uninstaller to reset the free license. I think you can understand that.

Not questions individuals and their behavior as Stupendous Man!

Just so you know, I have purchase two 3 years lic., keys.
Additionally, I have use Hitman Pro for over 5 years!

Not looking for anything free! It that what you think, you have without question
are totally wrong!!!It is sad that individuals even think in the terms.

Just wanting to make sure that my pc is free of registry entries. And unnecessary
things that may conflict over time. I will contact support at Hitman Pro!

Odd, HitmanPro 3.7.9 Build 218 is offered as a regular (non-beta) download from the SurfRight site now, but after installation it reverts back to HitmanPro 3.7.9 Build 216 with the second time the program is ran.
It is offered as non-beta at the SurfRight site, but yet it's still beta, I guess?

 

My best guess is 218 is still beta and if so yes it will "update" to 216 again.
