is there a freeware that let me import pdf in word 2010?

Hi

is there a freeware that let me import pdf in word 2010 ?

sadly i bought office 2010 , and only word 2013 can import pdf , i discoverd later

if there is not a freeware is there a paid softawe?

i wanted to buy office 2013 but many people advised me 2010 it's better , isn't it?

It is a matter of opinion, I use 2010 and don't see a reason to upgrade to 2013. Though if I would upgrade I would go for Office 365.

When installing, you have the option to put the new version in a different location. However I'm not sure if some shared dll's won't cause issues. A VM would be a certainty, imo.

is free pdf to word the only simple solution ?

I discussed it but probably you won't be happy from what I learned. Generally speaking there is not a reliable freeware. We have very good experience with ABBYY FineReader 12. Unfortunately it is a paid product and not so cheap. But only this one is giving us 100% import results even with our language that is full of diacritical marks. They have a trial version but with the following limitations.
- 30 days use
- Processing of up to 100 pages
- Export or saving to an external application of 3 pages at a time

Try Calibre. Convert to rtf then open in Word.

 

word 2010 alias doc? I have never used it so I don't remeber if it use doc or docx
If you means DOC I personally use a web service that use calibre, so you don't need install a program.

but some pdf are confidential ,maybe libreoffice can do it

 

PDF Shaper, free, can convert PDF to RTF or extract text. I use it mainly to combine PDFs.

LibreOffice imports PDF as graphic pages.

Anyway, to edit PDF is difficult and cumbersome. The format wasn´designed to be editable.
