    Suggestion:
In notification for Safe file(s), Remove should not be listed as an option.
If chosen, it could break the functionality of legitimate app(s).

Yeah, Remove option will be invisible for Safe file(s). Thanks again! ;)
For other results (Suspicious, Unsafe and Unknown) remains visible.

    Regards,
    Kardo

BTW, very clean and nice GUI. Lots of other devs could learn from this example.

Thank you for your kind words! :)

I'll also try to improve all other things too: detection and removal, performance, new features like offline checkup (optional), search for Overview, Whitelist...

    Regards,
    Kardo

Having a look for the first time today it seems the above URL is incorrect.
Only an advisory. The above is from Post #1 in this thread.

    Best regards

  11. Kardo,

Do you have Microsoft Office? Could you check, whether it recognizes them seperately (powerpoint, excel, word)

    Thanks! :)

I can make it so that it would be possible.. maybe some kind of optional caching system for Checkup.

    Kardo

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback. :)

Please note that BETA version (with preview screenshots design) is not yet available.
Currently the most recent (stable) version is 3.2.0.84.

    Regards,
    Kardo

  21. Kardo,

I have set UAC to deny elevation of unsigned, so it could well be my own fault. When I use Crystal as portable application, it does not seem to be able to intercept elevated aps. Maybe you could try for yourself

    Hi Kees,

    Just performed some tests:

    1. Crystal Security with UAC elevation = detected elevated processes successfully.
    2. Crystal Security without UAC elevation = failed to detect elevated applications (the situation described by you).

    Regards,
    Kardo

  23. kardo,

Okay. Thx for the confirmation. I guessed that would be the issue (my UAC setting denying elevation of unsigned aps).

Have you any idea how much signing of your application would cost?

    Regards

    Kees

Hmmmm.....aren't those certificates for web sites....not for applications?
I have read somewhere that annual cost is around 300$.
