Appguard should only offer 'real' incidents with the flashing icon after a few days of adding publisher exclusions and such. For example Adguard, your AV, Steam/Origin type of updaters all should have some exclusions.

Appguard will offer 100% protection - assuming it's not an installation and you've disabled it for installation. Which is why I feel you DO need something in addition to it. But when running? You really need nothing else but Appguard IMO. It's just that a lot of 'junk' can come through installations. Mbam, given the issues with it, and it's increasing system weight, I think I will relegate it to an on-demand scanner of objects.

E feel the same,and ok i'am not the Pro User and somtimes AG
makes me nervous when i see this Logs and i think for myself
AG *Blarg..Blarg*AG blocks maybe some important.So it is still
not easy for me to handle AG.

I have no system slowdown excepted sometimes in Firefox some websites are slow to load. But it can be related to my slow connection (2 Mbps) as it depends on the website loaded.

 

Check my signature, just added Pand Cloud antivirus 3.0 and Malwarebytes Anti-exploit. My boot time even decreased by 1 second ! Can you believe it ?

If you don't want to control outbound network traffic, Windows FW is enough.

 

Actually you can control outbound traffic in Vista+. Just more cumbersome to do, but there are programs that can help.

Although I can deal with Firewalls/HIPS and I have a valid license for OA, but I am afraid of facing some conflicts or high resources usage.

Maybe I should wait for the final version of EIS 9 , or upgrade KAV to KIS ... I don't know.

Do you have any suggestion about which firewall I can add to my setup without facing conflicts or high resources usage ?

You can use Windows firewall control to setup and manage your windows FW for outbound control. It will probably cause less conflicts then third party FW.

 

I am reading about it now, seems to be good choice.. still reading to see if there is any possible conflict or issue ..

 

I am done with Emsisoft Antimalware v9 beta for now and install the new shadow defender

 

It seems that Kaspersky Antivirus! port monitoring feature breaks Windows Firewall outbound rules , and this affect Windows Firewall Control also !!

if you knew how many people called me to fix their internet issue and then i found out that KIS messed up it all , they were very disappointed .

their first reaction: "damn they are expensive and on top of that made me loose money by calling you !"

 

Oh yes, I am angry now after reading some threads about this issue on their forums , bad reactions from them , as if no body understand but them !

Anyway , disabling port monitoring for specific port will make outbound rules functional again in Windows Firewall Control..

Just want to see if there is any danger from doing that as someone said there : "Web pages won't be scanned if you disable port 80 monitoring" !!

Is there any trusted webpage for testing KAV before and after disabling port monitoring ?

I want to know to what degree KAV protection affected by that

I must confess - I'm antivirusoholic: running 3 antivirus + MBAE realtime . Thinking to add sandboxie and get BSOD as a result eventually

 

Stick with Windows Firewall Control , I like it !

Now I am trying to find a strong and compatible AV to replace KAV 2014 and work with my setup
