Userscripts

Seems after several days of downtime hxxp.userscripts.org has gone to the wind (the domain is available). Although the site was becoming full of malware scripts and spam it was the main repository for some good scripts....This must be a worry to the developers of greasemonkey.

 

Damn I never noticed that. Now how am I supposed to keep my scripts updated?

That's the thing, they don't have all of my userscripts. I already Googled it.

Well, I've gone to the author's websites for mine instead. Usually it's GitHub for me now.

 

Hmm, GitHub is in its infancy, it will take a few years to build up a repository of scripts like those of Usersripts...Most of the scripts I use are on U'sripts anyway so the mirror is useful to me....However as I write this the search function isn't working and that's a real PITA.

You can use google search

For example, if you want "uso Count Issues", search for

site:userscripts.org uso Count Issues

It will give you this

userscripts.org/scripts/
show/69307

Then convert it to this

userscripts-mirror.org/scripts/show/69307.html
