    TempMonitor Lite---self explanatory
CPU-Z---gives lots of info about my phone
    Elixir---same as above + more

Malwarebytes is not a AV program so they play very nice together.

Just installed Heartbleed Detector from Lookout, pleased that my tablet doesn't have the problematic version of OpenSSL.

I am using Avira on my Android phone and tablets.
In addition to antivirus, you can locate, lock, wipe, and blacklist unwanted calls and messages.

Easy, free, and no in-app purchases.

Thanks to the ronald739 and LoneWolf for posting this. It's kind of like Grey Shirts no root Firewall + Adblock Plus only it works better.

    Cyanogenmod 11 with SELinux.
    ESET Mobile.
    Malwarebytes
    VirusTotal

Then as a browser: Firefox mobile with HTTPS Everywhere, NoScript (but it's a hassle to toggle on a touch screen), Adblock Plus and CleanQuit.

    AHHH I see, thanks
This app is the bomb! I can get rid of adblock+ because it blocks ads better and even in my apps.

    Settings > Wi-Fi > long press your AP > Modify network config > Show advanced options > IP settings > Static > DNS 1 & 2.

I wonder why Android is behind on this. Using DHCP with custom DNS should be allowed.
