When I reboot after having booted with a WinPE with HDM 14, the computer shows an incorrect time --one hour later. I noticed this yesterday and checked three times with the same result. As I recall, this never happened with previous versions of Paragon programs. Edit. This happens even if I don´t do any real operation with HDM 14. I just open the Full Scale Launcher. And, I think there are other "anomalies" left, not just the time change ... I may give additional details later, but this is not good at all.
Please provide details on how the media was created as well as which installation kit it was created with. Also please clarify where you are checking the time, and is it always off by one hour?
The ISO file was created using Recovery Media Builder in a Windows 7 x64 computer. It contains HDM 14 Suite v. 471. The time is always off by one hour. It´s the time reported at the bottom right of the desktop. But I restored an image using my alternate image program, and the same happened. So, it seems it´s not a Paragon problem. I will make other tests to find out what´s happening.
Please provide a screenshot if possible, I know there is a 72 hour timer within the recovery media which will force a restart after the time expires, but I'm unable to see what time clock you are referring to.
I´m referring to the system time, the time that Windows shows. Example: The time is 7:00 p.m. I reboot to a WinPE medium, do some operation or simply browse the program interface, spend 10 minutes doing this, and reboot. The time shown after the reboot should be 7:10 p.m., but it´s 8:10 p.m. instead.
I would recommend checking your bios, and verifying the time. The WinPE based recovery media doesn't alter any system information, we simply read from the source and write to the destination, more so I have tested that multiple times on my own machine and I am not receiving any issues with my clock being off by an hour after the restart, I have also tested it on multiple systems within our testing area.
Are you on Daylight saving time? That would account for it resetting your bios clock wrongly. Dism doesn't cope with that well. I used to do it with dism, but now I add the timezone info directly to the winpe registry. I will do a new paragon wipne maker to work on all nt6 both bit versions, and include correct correct time settings, when I get a moment. Bit busy right now.
