Can you identify within 0.1 seconds without related knowledge whether the string is "(PC) HP ProBook 4730s" or "(PC) HP ProBook 473os"?
That's not how the post appears to me. I suspect you have a font selected in your own browsers that makes the 0 (zero) look like the little o (oh). Here's an image of what I see in that post and the number 1110 and letter 111o look different. Maybe the font is simply selectable.
I think I see it now. The default font in the "Default Style" was using the Georgia font, which does funny things with numbers. It should be changed now to Verdana, which I think is also the default in the vB3 Style. Showing examples by force selecting fonts This is using Georgia: 1234567890 1000 1ooo 1OOO This is using Verdana: 1234567890 1000 1ooo 1OOO For a technical forum, we really can't have numbers looking like that and zeros and little ohs looking the same.
Yes, that was a side effect apparantly. I've lowered the pt size in the forum list a bit and it's closer now to what it was. Of course, the appearance is still different because the fonts render a bit different.
It's a tad bigger, but, not because of any font size setting. It's simply that this font is slightly expanded in how it renders. The username field was always the same size and font as the title field. It is now, too, but, both are in the new font, which appears slightly bigger.
It seems the main font has been changed. Now, I can identify whether the string is "(PC) HP ProBook 4730s" or "(PC) HP ProBook 473os". I agree to this change. Thank you.
