I have an Asus vivotab me400c tablet with is running on 32 bit windows 8 with UEFI bios and a GPT MMC HD.
I am using both paragon backup and recovery 2013 & 2014.
I used the provided Recovery Media Builder to create a USB bootable Flash Drive.
The USB bootable Flash Drive works on my XP and Vista computers but it does work on my Asus Window 8 computer/tablet.
I am not sure if this is the issue but the USB bootable Flash Drive that is created can only be created as NSTF. I have read that the bootable drive must be fat32 for an UEFI bios to boot.
I have created a USB bootable Flash Drive using windows 8 and I can boot from that but don't I need to have Paragon boot manager in order to restore the images I created with Paragon B&R 2013 & 2014 if I crash?
If Paragon B&R 2013 & 2014 can't provide a UEFI bootable software, I will try to use Microsoft's System Image but I have a problem with that also. The Microsoft's System Image does not list the OEM Recovery partition for me to create an image with the other drives.
It lists EFI system drive, c: drive and Windows Recovery Environment drive. It doesn't list the OEM Recovery Partition.
How do I create an UEFI bootable USB Flash Drive with Paragon boot manager on it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Kenny

Probably your tablet isn´t supported by Recovery Media Builder. These "32-bit UEFI" systems are not typical configurations. UEFI is normally a 64-bit only environment. Probably RMB is using NTFS to format the Flash drive because it detects a 32-bit system. If you have access to Boot Media Builder, the other program to create WinPE boot media, you could try it.

    thanks for quick reply.
Its a 32 bit windows 8 system with UEFI BIOS. This type of config is not unusual for win 8 tablets.
When I use the Microsoft recovery bootable program (msrbp), its formats the usb flash drive to fat32.
And when I use the flash drive with msrbp to boot up, the bios recognizes the flash drive and reads it as "UEFI: (the make of the flash drive)".
And I have an option to launch it with the flash drive or with "windows boot manager" (normal startup).
If I choose flash drive, it launches the Microsoft recovery program.
When I try to make a paragon bootable flash drive, it always format the usb flash drive to NSFT.
And when I try to use the flash drive, the startup doesn't recognize the flash drive and just boots up normally to windows 8.
I've tried it with the recovery media builder (RMB) that came with the Backup & Recovery 2013 software and I downloaded the latest stand alone recovery media builder program for B&R 2014.
Both Paragon RMB formats the usb flash drive to NSFT and I see no way to format it to fat32.
I even tried formatting the flash drive first to fat32 and copy the boot manager program from another flash drive.
But there were several files that it couldn't copy over.
I know it needs to use a bootable drive the is formatted as fat32 or it won't work for UEFI Bios system.
When I put in a flash drive that is formatted as fat32, it recognizes it even if there is no bootable program.
And gives me an option to boot using the flash drive or with windows boot manager.
And if I choose the flash drive and if the program is not a bootable program, it just boots it up normally to windows 8.
If the flash drive is formatted as NSFT, it won't even recognize it and just boot up normally to windows 8.
ALSO, my hd is GPT. So its an UEFI Bios + GPT hard drive tablet/computer on a 32 bit system.
Paragon must know that UEFT BIOS uses bootable drives that must be formatted to fat32.
They must have something to make an USB bootable Flash drive device for UEFI systems.
    Can anyone please help.
    Thanks
    Kenny

    Aigle,
    You're the best.
I created a fat32 32 bit UEFI usb bootable flash drive with their program.
I tested the boot up and it worked. I haven't tried re-imaging anything but everything looks good.
I hope it works if and when I need to fully restore my HD.
Have you used it yet to fully restore your HD or tested it?
    Again, thanks

    aigle,

I am trying to find the touch screen drivers for my Asus tablet.
Would you know where the drivers would be?
Also, do I just add it into the driver folder or do I need to create another folder within the driver folder?
I am new at this and any help or direction is greatly appreciated.
You be great help so far.
    thanks

I installed this software and made a backup of all the drivers.

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/drvback/files/DriverBackup! 2/

I did not have time to find exact drivers needed for touch, so I just copied all drivers from backup to the Drivers folder of macrium WinPE bootable USB.

It automatically loaded needed drivers on bootup and touch screen was working fine.

Just copy all backed up drivers folders directly in the main Drivers folder.

I'm using macrium reflect free as my recovery software. Their bootable flash lets me boot into their recovery program. Paragon's program doesn't create a 32 bit uefi bootable flash only 64 bit.
