Im still trying to get used to debian. I switched from gnome to xfce for various reasons. In gnome I was able to download chrome 64 bit.deb package and simply double click it and install it. In Xfce I can't do that. Synpatics won't open it either
So is there a graphical package installer?

That's interesting, I was on xfce and tried to install gnome, however I had lots of troubles - either using GDM3 or lightdm, reinstalling Video-drivers and xorg, nothing would seem to work - I'd always just get a black screen trying to use gdm3 :(

Also just a question - why didn't you use chromium from the repo's ?

My browser requirements are as follows:
    - File Edit View Bookmark bar must be visible
    - Extension icons must be allowed to be moved

Only Firefox and to lesser degress internet explorer and opera support these customizations. So I cant use chrome and its many derivatives.
