Good Evening! It appears G-Data Germany might have the new release...why I'm not more definitive...is I can't see anything on the packaging...stating 2015! Anybody who can decipher German...if you can surf to the website...and get back to us with some updated info it would be appreciated. FleischmannTV...If you check out this thread...your assistance would be greatly appreciated. I earlier checked out the U.K.and U.S.A. site and they still promote the 2014...Product. And inside-out if you have nothing positive to contribute...do not participate in this post! Sincerely...Securon

    Weird. It's only April 4th of 2014. A very early 2015.

Any idea of what engine(s) they are using?

I'm going to give this a try when it is available in English.

Good Evening! I've contacted Mr.Ed Johnson at G-Data U.S.A. I'll inform everyone when it's expected in N.America. As a footnote I downloaded 2014 from the U.K. site last year. It's usually available at that site hopefully before the end of April. Sincerely...Securon

Stop the presses! Full 2015 final int'l packages are already on GData German website https://www.gdata.de/kundenservice/downloads.html

Available in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Polish languages so far, I just downloaded the AV-only version. Haven't installed it yet but I'm positive that it is the very latest v2015.

Good Evening! Thanks for the screenshot's Macstorm! Does the BankGuard feature actually show as an app...or is it an invisible feature supposedly baked into the product? Sincerely...Securon

You're welcome, Securon. I still haven't installed it yet but I plan to do it later, nevertheless in earlier beta build I saw that the BankGuard feature still was working behind the scenes all the time with no visual alerts of any kind, except of course the ones shown in settings (checkbox) and task manager.

This seems to be the best g-data version I've tried. For me the browsing in firefox hasn't been that good, but this one is much better.I haven't checked the detection yet,I'll leave that to better qualified people, but i'm sure it's top notch.

Really silly. I would have expected one with "2025" on the box.

Good Evening! Taliscicero...the 2015 G-Data has been released in Germany and Austria. I'll eventually purchase my product from the G-Data U.S.A. Site which will be available this summer as mentioned June or July. I'll keep you updated if it arrives sooner. Or you might try the U.K. site. It should be available in the U.K. very shortly. Sincerely...Securon

It is the official international version.
As shown in Macstorm's screen capture the installation program supports multiple languages. You can choose English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, or Polish language.
The only restriction is that for now it is only offered through the German GData.de website. The websites for other countries will follow in a little while.
But if you are a new customer and you want the new G Data 2015 now, you can buy it via the German site. And if you are G Data customer already, you can login at the German website, UpgradeCenter, and download the installation program ("Weitere Möglichkeiten -> Installationsdatei herunterladen") and get the 2015 version.

Good Evening! Just curious as if anyone has had the opportunity to try the new release. Anything about it that makes it markedly different from the 2014 version? Sincerely...Securon

I downloaded and installed G Data IS 2015 today.
Different from the 2014 version are a few aspects:
    1.
With installation of G Data IS 2015 there was no request to uninstall SpywareBlaster, as with installation of earlier G Data IS versions. There was never a problem SpywareBlaster interfering with G Data IS after installation, but with installation of earlier G Data IS versions there was a request to uninstall SpywareBlaster for some reason. Not with the 2015 version.
    2.
The G Data Exploit Protection is a nice touch. I wonder what mechanism is used. I hope we'll learn more about it, soon.
    3.
The G Data IS 2015 Keylogger Protection seems to have a side effect.
With G Data keylogger protection activated, in some web forms I cannot type quotation marks (' or ") using the computer's keyboard.
Keyboard setup: QWERTY, setting United States, International.
    Affected web form:
Reply fields ("Reageren") at this website:
    http://www.gratissoftwaresite.nl/
The website is based on Drupal 7 framework.
I only noticed this issue with reply fields at that website, but I suppose the same issue may apply to other Drupal framework based websites, and perhaps also to websites based on other techniques.
I reported to G Data Support. I hope the G Data team can diagnose this G Data keylogger protection issue and offer a solution though a program update.
For now, I disabled G Data keylogger protection in G Data IS 2015.

Good Evening! Stupendous Man...many thanks for your informative update. Wondering if the problem with the keylogger protection is similar too the problems encountered with earlier versions of WSA? It's encouraging that the user doesn't have to un-install existing security apps. Hopefully they clear up the bugs with the keylogger. Sounds like the G-Data Exploit Protection is Browser Protection...or is it? Once again all and any feedback and personal experiences are appreciated. Sincerely...Securon

Yes, I used the method above to get my copy of GDATA IS 2015. I noticed one very cool difference with the new version and that's the keylogger protection. It only affects the browser not the desktop, but using zemanas test and a few others it seamlessly stops keyloggers from being able to grab any inputs I make within Firefox without asking and without any popup's or warnings "which i like". It just works, I am also not getting the same problem Stupendous Man is getting with the keylogger protection, I'm not sure why, maybe its a conflict issue or a regional issue as i'm using the English version? Anyway, I'm pleased. Its the same old GDATA but with a few new tricks and no extra bloat :).

    I don't know.
If it is anything like EMET, Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (beta), or HitmanPro.Alert version 3 (that will become available in Q2 2014), then it's more than only browser protection but might also protect other applications and processes. But I just don't know. I hope to learn more later.
