I have a network storage with authorisation and get access to it throw microsoft network or ftp protocol. On windows server 2012 HDM 12 cann't see network drives assigned by OS. HDM cann't save password for network drive or ftp server. Every time i'm running the master of differential arhive creation it ask for user and password to get access to network storage. I find the way to get around this problem on windows server 2003 and HDM 10. Before running the script net use command assign network storage as a disk R: and create arhive on it. But it doesn't work on windows server 2012.
No other versions with the exception of HDM 14 series and the very last build of the HDM 12 will properly support 2012 and only HDM 14 will support 2012 R2,
I have the latest build of HDM 12 and windows server 2012. This is the common issue of all HDM - pour support of network authority with differential buckups. It creates differential buckups on network storage to the main arhive located on local storage. It creates differential buckups on local storage to the main arhive located on network storage. But it cann't create differential buckups on network storage to the main arhive located on network storage.
I apologize for the confusion but that is incorrect, there are no issues with creating full images, differentials, or incrementals to a network storage location.
In that case why i cann't create differentials on my network d-link storage. I have tried different types of authority (microsoft network or ftp), but never have got success. The only reccomendation from support team was try latest build or even betta version.
