Terms of Service and Rules

Terms of Service (Forum Rules)
You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or in violation of ANY law. This is not only a forum policy, but legal action can be taken against you in accordance with appropriate law. This restricts the public posting of any private communications without the express permission of all parties involved in that communication, whether those be emails, instant message logs or any form of private messages. You also agree not to post or upload any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or you have consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also inappropriate in this forum. Furthermore, you agree not to post any links to warez(1), sites from which malware (viruses, worms, trojans, backdoors etc.) can be downloaded, and requests for or to share malware. Additionally, please note that Wilders Security Forums is primarily a computer security discussion board, therefore content of a controversial political or religious nature is considered "off topic" and generally not allowed.

Note that it is impossible for us to confirm the validity of all the posts on this forum. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages and are not responsible for their content. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information presented. The messages express the views of the author, not necessarily the views of this forum. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator of this forum immediately. We reserve the right to remove any content in whole or part that in our view is objectionable within a reasonable time frame if we determine that removal is necessary for any reason. This is a manual process, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy also applies to member profile information. The decisions of the forum management are final and are not open for public debate.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this forum, and any related websites to this forum. Further, by posting you grant Wilders Security Forums perpetual and non-exclusive right to copy, display, modify, alter, delete, transmit, and distribute any content posted by you. We reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any information we have about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any information posted by you.

You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another member, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another member's account to post messages or browse this forum.

Note: in order to register, you should set your browser to accept a cookie from this site. If you do not do so, you will not be "remembered" as a registered user the next time you (try to) log in.

After you register and log into this forum, you can fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information we deem inaccurate or offensive will be removed. While participating on this forum, using multiple identities for purposes such as but not limited to bumping topics, supporting a position stated by one identity through use of another, or to mislead or misdirect in any way is prohibited.

Please note that with each page visited, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from the Service or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.
